Job summary

Prospero Teaching is assisting schools in Sale and surrounding areas to fill temporary PPA teaching roles across EYFS to KS1, with flexible part-time or full-time options.

Ideal candidates hold UK QTS, have recent UK classroom experience, and can create a warm, engaging learning environment while safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.

Qualifications

  • Right to work in the UK; no sponsorship provided.
  • UK QTS is required to apply.
  • Recent UK classroom experience across EYFS–KS2.
  • Strong understanding of early reading, phonics and early Maths.
  • Confident classroom management and organisation.
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate learning across EYFS and KS1.
  • Support learning through structured activities and purposeful play in EYFS.
  • Deliver phonics, English, maths and wider curriculum in KS1.
  • Support children's communication, language, social and emotional development.
  • Establish routines and positive behaviour expectations.
  • Adapt activities to meet different development levels.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and school staff.
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

Primary PPA Teacher - Sale

Location: Sale and surrounding areas within Trafford
Salary: GBP150 - GBP200 per day depending on experience
Hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm
Contract: Full or part-time and temporary

We're looking for PPA Teachers to work on a supply basis in Sale and surrounding areas.

Primary PPA Teacher - responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate learning across EYFS and KS1.
  • In EYFS, support learning through structured activities, continuous provision and purposeful play.
  • In KS1, deliver engaging lessons across phonics, English, maths and the wider curriculum.
  • Support children's communication, language, social and emotional development.
  • Establish consistent routines and positive behaviour expectations.
  • Adapt activities to meet different levels of development and ability.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and school staff.
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Primary PPA Teacher - requirements
  • Right to Work in the UK - no sponsorship available.
  • UK QTS.
  • Recent UK classroom experience.
  • Recent experience teaching EYFS - KS2.
  • Good understanding of early reading, phonics and early mathematical development.
  • Confident classroom management and organisation.
  • Ability to create a warm, engaging and purposeful learning environment.
  • Patient, adaptable and nurturing approach.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
