Job summary

GSL Education is seeking a Primary Nurture Teacher in Braintree to support pupils with SEMH, Autism, ADHD and other needs. You will plan differentiated lessons, create a nurturing environment and build strong relationships with students and families.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Primary Nurture Teacher to join a supportive school in Braintree. This rewarding role involves working with pupils who may face barriers to learning due to SEMH needs, behavioural challenges, trauma or difficulties accessing mainstream education. You will play a key role in helping students develop confidence, resilience and positive learning behaviours.

The Role

As a Primary Nurture Teacher, you will:

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, SEN, Autism, ADHD or behavioural needs.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A nurturing, patient and empathetic approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
