Job summary

Teacher Active is seeking a Primary Midday Supervisor to supervise lunchtime and playtime in Mansfield and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible, part-time opportunities across Nottingham’s primary schools, with a focus on creating a safe, positive lunchtime environment for children.

You will help supervise in dining halls and playgrounds, promote good behaviour, and support pupils while following school policies. Prior childcare or youth-work experience is welcome.

Primary Midday Supervisor

Location: Mansfield & surrounding areas

Start Date: ASAP / Ongoing Opportunities
Salary: £14.25 £16.00 per hour, depending on experience

Teacher Active is currently looking to expand our pool of enthusiastic, reliable and caring Midday Supervisors to work with our partner primary schools across Nottingham and the surrounding areas.

We work with a wide range of mainstream primary schools, with regular opportunities for Midday Supervisors to support schools during lunchtime and playtime.

This is an ideal opportunity for people looking for flexible, part-time work within a school environment, as well as those looking to gain valuable experience working with children.

As a Midday Supervisor, you will help ensure pupils have a safe, enjoyable and positive lunchtime experience. You will supervise children in the dining hall, playground and other designated areas, while promoting positive behaviour and supporting pupils where required.

Previous school experience is desirable but not essential, and we would welcome applications from candidates with experience in childcare, youth work, sports coaching, care or similar settings.
