Job summary

Teacher Active is seeking a Primary Midday Supervisor to support schools across Nottingham and surrounding areas. The role involves supervising pupils during lunch and playtimes in dining halls and playgrounds, helping maintain a safe and positive environment.

Ideal candidates will have experience with children, a calm demeanour and strong communication skills. Flexible, part-time opportunities with a supportive consultant team are available.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people desirable.
• Calm, patient and approachable manner.
• Confidence managing behaviour and dealing with minor incidents.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of safeguarding and pupil welfare.
• Reliable and flexible approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils in the dining hall, playground and other designated areas.
• Promote positive behaviour and support pupils during lunch and playtime.
• Ensure a safe, enjoyable lunchtime experience for pupils.
