Job summary

White Rose Education is seeking a Primary Mathematics Specialist to develop, review and refine high‑quality mathematics resources and assessments. You will ensure mathematical accuracy, progression and accessible pedagogy for teachers and learners.

You’ll contribute to curriculum review, apply research and classroom experience to shape materials and support ongoing professional development for schools.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and successful completion of the ECT induction.
• A degree-level qualification relevant to primary education.
• A strong track record of effective primary mathematics teaching.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and improve high‑quality primary mathematics resources and assessments.
• Ensure materials reflect effective pedagogy, accuracy and progression.
• Apply knowledge of how children learn maths, addressing common misconceptions.
• Collaborate with colleagues to evaluate resources and develop new materials.
• Inform curriculum and resource development using research and school feedback.
• Support professional development for teachers and school leaders.
• Communicate mathematical ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
• Support the wider Primary Maths team with priorities and projects.
• Manage workload, meet deadlines and maintain high standards.
