Job summary

White Rose Education is seeking a Primary Mathematics Specialist to join our team. This 12-month fixed-term, full-time role (37 hours per week) is based in Halifax with regular travel to Leeds (LS11).

You will develop, review and refine high-quality mathematics resources, ensuring accuracy and progression, and help deliver professional development for teachers. A strong classroom background in primary maths and QTS are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and ECT induction are required.
• Strong track record of effective primary mathematics teaching.
• Knowledge of National Curriculum and progression in primary maths.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and improve high-quality primary mathematics resources
• Contribute to curriculum and assessment reviews reflecting effective pedagogy
• Provide professional development support to teachers and school leaders
• Communicate mathematical ideas clearly to diverse audiences
• Support wider Primary Maths team with priorities and projects
• Manage allocated work to meet deadlines and standards
