Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support a range of welcoming and inclusive primary schools. You will work alongside experienced educators, helping pupils to reach their full potential both academically and personally.

You will support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, assist with lessons, provide individual and small group support, and help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom. The role offers flexible working patterns and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or a relevant childcare qualification.
• Experience working with children in a school, childcare or educational setting.
• Confident supporting learning across the primary curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, adaptable and passionate about supporting children's development.
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• Hold, or be willing to apply for, an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classrooms.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Provide individual and small group support to pupils.
• Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Support pupils with varying learning needs and abilities.
• Encourage positive behaviour and classroom engagement.
• Prepare learning resources and assist with classroom organisation.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support pupil progress.
