Job summary

Milk Education is seeking a caring Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Liverpool (L6). The role starts in September and runs until December, with potential to continue.

You will provide general classroom support in KS1, helping children with early development, learning and social skills. The successful candidate will have recent classroom experience and a Level 2 TA qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB or equivalent).

Qualifications

• Recent and relevant experience in an educational setting.
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Provide general classroom support to the class teacher and KS1 pupils
• Support children’s learning through group work, interventions, and focused 1:1 support
• Assist with the delivery of phonics, early reading, writing, and maths activities
