Job summary

Aspire People are seeking qualified Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Manchester following the October half-term break.

We are looking for dependable candidates with recent UK school experience who can assist teachers, support classroom learning and help pupils feel confident and engaged. Daily supply, part-time and longer-term opportunities may be available from November 2026 onwards.

Qualifications

• Qualification as Level 2 TA or equivalent.
• Recent UK school experience within the last two years.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Assist with reading, writing and maths activities.
• Provide individual and small-group support.
• Help prepare classroom resources.
• Support classroom routines and maintain positive behaviour.
• Encourage pupil participation and independence.
