Job summary

Aspire People are recruiting Level 3 Teaching Assistants to support primary schools in Manchester, starting after the October half-term break. The role covers EYFS to KS2, with a focus on helping pupils access learning and supporting teachers across the core subjects.

Opportunities may include daily supply, part-time work and longer-term placements from November 2026 or later, with safeguarding and inclusion as a core commitment of Aspire People.

Qualifications

• Qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent
• UK-based school experience within the last two years
• Experience supporting pupils in a primary school environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion

Responsibilities

• Supporting classroom learning and daily routines
• Providing 1:1 and small-group assistance
• Supporting reading, writing, Maths and other curriculum activities
• Helping maintain positive behaviour and pupil engagement
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs
• Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
