Job summary

Value Education LTD is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant (TA2) for North Manchester primary schools. This role supports class teachers, helps pupils and contributes to a positive, inclusive learning environment.

You will have a Level 2 TA qualification (or equivalent), solid classroom experience, and strong communication and safeguarding knowledge. The position is full-time, term-time only, with weekly pay between £475 and £550.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in a primary school setting
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible, proactive, and committed to supporting children's learning
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures

Responsibilities

• Support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality lessons
• Provide targeted support to individual pupils and small groups, including those with SEND
• Lead intervention and enrichment activities to boost pupil progress
• Assist with classroom management, resource preparation, and displays
• Supervise pupils during break times, trips, and extracurricular activities
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
