Job summary

White Hall Academy in Clacton is seeking a part-time Learning Support Assistant with SEN experience to support primary pupils, including those with SEND, across SEND provisions as required, and assist in delivering tailored learning activities.

You will collaborate with teachers, parents and staff to implement individual learning plans and help create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment that promotes academic and social development.

Qualifications

• Team player with the ability to work independently.
• Patient, tolerant and understanding approach to child development.
• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
• Previous experience supporting children with SEND is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the learning and development of primary school children, including those with SEND.
• Work in the SEND provisions as required, providing tailored assistance.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and support staff to deliver inclusive education.
• Contribute to the creation and implementation of individual learning plans.
