Job summary

Academics Ltd. are recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for a welcoming Redbridge primary school. You will support pupils aged 5–11, including those with SEMH, ASC, ADHD and SLD, providing individual and small-group support to help them access the curriculum.

The role offers a fixed-term contract until July 2027 with potential progression into HLTA or other senior classroom support roles. Full-time, term-time only, with parking on site and strong commitment to building positive relationships.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for supporting primary-aged children.
• Experience with children with additional needs preferred.
• Patient, adaptable and confident when supporting pupils with different learning requirements.
• Positive approach and ability to build strong relationships with children.
• Enthusiastic about developing skills and progressing within education.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group support to pupils.
• Help pupils access the curriculum and develop confidence.
• Foster positive relationships within the classroom.
