Job summary

Academics Ltd. are recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for a welcoming Redbridge primary school. You will support pupils aged 5–11, including those with SEMH, ASC, ADHD and SLD, providing individual and small-group support to help them access the curriculum.

The role offers a fixed-term contract until July 2027 with potential progression into HLTA or other senior classroom support roles. Full-time, term-time only, with parking on site and strong commitment to building positive relationships.

Learning Support Assistant - Redbridge

Academics are currently working with a welcoming primary school in Redbridge who are looking to recruit a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children with additional needs and is keen to develop their experience within a supportive primary school environment.

You will be supporting primary-aged pupils between 5 and 11 years old, working with children with a range of additional needs including SEMH, ASC, ADHD and SLD. The role will involve providing individual and small-group support, helping pupils access the curriculum, develop their confidence and build positive relationships within the classroom.

What makes this opportunity particularly exciting is the potential for progression. The initial contract will run until July 2027, with the possibility of a permanent position afterwards. The successful Learning Support Assistant will:

The role:

• Daily pay: £93-£115
• Contract: Until July 2027, with potential for a permanent position.
• Working pattern: Full-time, term time only.
• Parking available, although public transport is recommended.

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
