Job summary

Choice Teachers is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for a Primary School in Watford. You will support pupils aged 4-11 with learning, behaviour and emotional needs to help them reach educational goals.

Role requires patience, safeguarding commitment and ability to work as part of a team. Driving licence and transport access are advantageous; GCSEs in English and Maths are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs or behavioural challenges.
• GCSE English and Maths at least 4/C or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support and supervise pupils aged 4-11 in and out of the classroom.
• Help pupils engage with learning and work toward educational goals.
• Contribute to safeguarding and create a safe learning environment.
• Maintain records and assist with progress reviews and support plans.
• Prepare learning materials and collaborate with staff and external professionals.
