Job summary

Newhaven School is seeking an experienced Primary or SEND specialist teacher to plan and deliver ambitious, well-sequenced learning, adapting a mainstream KS2/KS3 curriculum for autistic students across all subjects to enable them to achieve academic success at KS4.

This role values flexibility, collaborative working with colleagues and a creative, non-mainstream approach, with a focus on social communication and independence.

We arecurrently seeking an experienced Primary or SEND specialist teacher to join ourteam. This role involves planning and delivering ambitious, well-sequencedlearning, adapting a mainstream KS2/KS3 curriculum for autistic students,across all subjects, to enable them to eventually go on to achieve academicsuccess at KS4. Flexibility and the ability to workcollaboratively with colleagues are key to success, and this role may well suitsomeone who is looking to further develop their pedagogy in a creative,non-mainstream environment.
