Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Primary KS2 Teacher for day-to-day cover in South Gloucestershire. The role involves delivering engaging lessons, managing classrooms, and adapting teaching to support pupils with SEND.

You will be expected to hold QTS (ECTs welcomed), have UK primary teaching experience, and demonstrate strong knowledge of KS2 curriculum with an adaptable, enthusiastic approach to teaching.

Start Date: September

Salary: £145 - £230 per day

TeacherActive are recruiting Primary teachers to be working within mainstream Primary schools in South Gloucestershire.

We are looking to take on a Primary Teacher for day-to-day cover from September, supporting pupils across Key Stage 2 / KS2. The successful Primary Teacher will be expected to deliver engaging lessons, provide effective classroom management and adapt their teaching to support pupils with a range of needs, including SEND.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Primary teaching experience in the UK
• Experience supporting children with SEND
• Sound knowledge of the Primary Curriculum across KS2
• Excellent classroom management
• An adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
