Job summary

TeacherActive are recruiting a Primary KS1 Teacher to work in mainstream primary schools across South Gloucestershire from September.

The role involves delivering engaging KS1 lessons, maintaining excellent classroom management, and supporting pupils with diverse needs including SEND. QTS is required (ECTs welcomed) and UK teaching experience is essential. Daily pay rates apply.

Job Title: Primary KS1 Teacher
Location: South Gloucestershire
Start Date: September
Salary: £145 - £230 per day

TeacherActive are recruiting Primary teachers to be working within mainstream Primary schools in South Gloucestershire.

We are looking to take on a Primary Teacher for day-to-day cover from September, supporting pupils across Key Stage 1/ KS1. The successful Primary Teacher will be expected to deliver engaging lessons, provide effective classroom management and adapt their teaching to support pupils with a range of needs, including SEND.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)


• Primary teaching experience in the UK


• Experience supporting children with SEND


• Sound knowledge of the Primary Curriculum across KS1


• Excellent classroom management


• An adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
