About the Role:

As a Primary Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons tailored to the specific needs of each child. You will create a nurturing, inclusive environment that promotes curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.

You will need to:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners in Key Stage 1.
• Differentiate the curriculum to ensure every child is challenged and supported in their learning.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, creating an inclusive and positive classroom culture.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable goals.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management, fostering a focused learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding pupil progress, concerns, and achievements.
• Contribute to the school’s ethos by participating in staff meetings, school events, and collaborative planning sessions.

The Successful Candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven experience of teaching within Key Stage 1, including planning and delivering lessons effectively.
• A solid understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum, with the ability to differentiate and tailor lessons to suit individual learning styles.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive, respectful learning environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with pupils, staff, and parents.
• A passion for inspiring young children and encouraging their academic and personal development.
• A commitment to professional development and staying up-to-date with educational practices and trends.
• Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
