Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher with a strong interest in special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS2 Class Teacher with the additional responsibility of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENCO). The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching to Key Stage 2 pupils, ensuring inclusivity, supporting students with SEN, and leading on SEN provisions across the school. WE ARE SEEKING A PASSIONATE CANDIDATE WHO:
  • is a qualified teacher with experience in Key Stage 2, demonstrating consistently good or outstanding practice, with a passion for teaching and learning through quality first, creative classroom teaching, and pupil engagement.
  • has a strong understanding of inclusive practice and SEN provision.
  • possesses SENCO qualification (or is willing to complete it).
  • approaches supporting pupils and colleagues collaboratively and compassionately.
  • brings energy, creativity, and a genuine passion for teaching and learning.
YOUR MAIN DUTIES WOULD BE:
  • teaching primary-aged children as per schemes of work.
  • identifying students with potential learning difficulties and working with staff to implement appropriate interventions.
  • overseeing and coordinating the provision for children with special educational needs across the school.
