KS1 Teacher - Full-Time - Primary School - Derby - September 2025 Start

Contract Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Daily Rate: .62 (dependent on experience and pay scale)
Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Derby to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time position covering the full academic year, with potential for a permanent role.
About the Role:
As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that support children's development and help them achieve their full potential. You will be joining a supportive team with a shared commitment to providing high-quality learning experiences in a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners
Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress in line with national curriculum expectations
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
Work closely with teaching assistants and colleagues to support all pupils, including those with additional needs
Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other stakeholders
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Recent experience teaching in KS1
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and phonics schemes
A positive, proactive approach to classroom management and behaviour
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
