Job summary

West Kirby School and College is seeking an enthusiastic educator to support pupils with SEND and contribute to an inclusive learning environment.

You will build sound professional relationships with pupils, work with external agencies and schools, and help track pupil progress while delivering creative learning opportunities. The role requires knowledge of autism and strategies to support challenging behaviours, along with teamwork and a passion for developing children's skills.

Responsibilities

• Be able to build sound, professional relationships with pupils
• Be committed to working with children with SEND
• Have experience of teaching pupils and enabling progress, you will beable to explain and demonstrate this
• Have a track record of successfully delivering learning opportunitiesto young people
• Have knowledge of Autism and support children who display challengingbehaviour
• Have a passion for developing children’s skills and learning
• Have had involvement in recording, developing, analysing and trackingpupil progress
• Be able to work in partnership with external agencies and schools
• Be committed to working within a team promoting exciting and creativelearning
