Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support primary schools across the local area. The HLTA will cover whole-class and deliver planned lessons, and lead small-group interventions.

Ideal candidates will hold HLTA qualification or equivalent, recent UK primary experience, strong curriculum knowledge, and the ability to work independently with excellent communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification or strong equivalent experience.
• Recent experience within a UK primary school.
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
• Confident classroom management.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing whole-class cover when required.

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant ready to take the next step in your career?

Aspire People are currently recruiting Higher Level Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across the local area. We're looking for confident practitioners who can take on additional responsibility, support classroom teaching, and provide high-quality learning experiences for pupils.

This could suit an experienced HLTA or a Level 3 Teaching Assistant who is ready to progress into a higher-level role.

• Providing whole-class cover when required

• Leading 1:1 and small-group interventions
