Job summary

Lift Utterby, part of Lift Schools, is seeking a Class Teacher to join our small rural primary in a warm, supportive environment. The role can be full-time or 0.8 (4 days) and is suitable for ECTs or experienced teachers.

Qualifications

• QTS in Primary education is required.
• Experience teaching in a UK primary school with the last 2 years is preferred.
• Phonics knowledge and ability to deliver Read Write Inc is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Assess and track pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly.
• Maintain a safe, positive classroom environment with high behaviour expectations.
• Safeguard and promote welfare of all children in line with policies.
• Collaborate with staff, parents and the wider trust community to support pupil development.
