Lift Utterby is seeking a passionate Class Teacher to join our small, friendly primary school. You will deliver a rich curriculum, support pupil development, and contribute to a warm, safe learning environment in a rural village setting.

We welcome applications from ECTs or experienced teachers, with flexibility for a 4-day week (0.8) or full-time roles. A UK driving licence is desirable for our rural location.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in primary education.
• Experience teaching in a UK primary school within the last 2 years.
• Experience with Read Write Inc phonics programme.
• Flexible, proactive approach and genuine passion for primary education.
• Eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Assess pupil progress and report on attainment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Safeguard pupils in line with policy and guidance.
• Collaborate with staff, parents and the wider school community.
