Part of Lift Schools, Utterby is a small rural school, where you will find a warm friendly welcome from all. We are federated with Lift North Thoresby and together we aim to offer our pupils rich and exciting learning opportunities that help them to achieve and develop, and inspire them to do their very best. We want our children to leave us as confident and respectful young people, equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to be successful in their lives ahead. We aim to provide children the benefit of a creative approach to learning, acquiring the key attributes of independence and resilience; in a school at the heart of the community, maintaining the traditions and values of the local area, whilst allowing pupils the opportunity to be forward thinking and globally aware.
As we are quite a rural school, a full UK driving licence is essential as public transport options are very limited.
Lift Schools is made up of 62 primary, secondary and special schools, educating more than 35,000 pupils across the country. We believe education can transform lives – and we want every child in our schools to achieve their full potential.
