Job summary

Haberdashers' Hatcham Primary is seeking an experienced Class Teacher to support teaching and pupil welfare in KS1/KS2, with a focus on driving writing progress across the school. The role reports to the Assistant Headteacher and requires a solid understanding of KS1/KS2 learning objectives and outcomes.

You will contribute to safeguarding and staff development, working within our trust to promote equity, inclusion, and high standards of attainment for every pupil.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with a nationally recognised teaching degree.
• Experience delivering KS1/KS2 curricula and monitoring progress.
• Ability to drive writing progress across the school.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Class Teacher who will support in the teaching and welfare of children to ensure our pupils make appropriate progress in KS1/KS2 through attaining their academic targets whilst driving Writing within the school.

Working under the direction of the Assistant Headteacher, the ideal candidate must:

• Have sufficient understanding of their area of expertise to support the development, learning and progress of pupils during KS1/KS2
• Must have achieved a nationally recognised teaching degree
• Understand the objectives, content and intended outcomes for learners activities in which they are involved
• Be responsible for driving writing within the school

This role is for 32.5 hours per week.
