Teaching Personnel are seeking a Primary Class Teacher for September 2026 at a popular primary school in Wigan. The role is full-time and long-term supply, starting September 2026, with ongoing support from Teaching Personnel.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess pupil progress and maintain a calm, inclusive classroom. QTS and primary teaching experience are essential, with strong curriculum knowledge and commitment to safeguarding.

Primary Class Teacher – September 2026
Location: Wigan
Contract: Full-Time / Long-Term Supply
Start Date: September 2026

Are you an enthusiastic Primary Teacher looking for a new opportunity from September? Teaching Personnel are currently working with a popular primary school in the local area that is seeking a committed teacher to join their team on a long-term supply basis.

This opportunity would suit a teacher who enjoys becoming part of a school community and is looking for the consistency of a longer-term placement, while retaining the support and flexibility of working through Teaching Personnel.

About the Opportunity

The successful teacher will take responsibility for the day-to-day teaching of a primary class, planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress and creating an inclusive classroom environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their potential.

You will work closely with colleagues, support staff and the wider school team to ensure pupils receive a high standard of education and pastoral support.

The school has high expectations for both behaviour and learning and is looking for a teacher who can demonstrate a calm, consistent and positive approach.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • A positive and professional attitude

Teaching Personnel will provide ongoing support throughout the placement, including access to professional development, CPD opportunities and a dedicated consultant.
