Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting a Supply Teacher to cover primary schools in Kingsteignton for a September 2026 start. Roles are flexible, with full-time and part-time opportunities across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

You will deliver engaging lessons, follow school plans and support pupils throughout the day. The ideal candidate will have QTS or equivalent, UK teaching experience in primary settings, strong behaviour management, and a professional, adaptable approach.

Supply Teacher – Primary Schools (September 2026 Start)

Location: Kingsteignton
Salary: £125–£150 per day (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Flexible Supply – Full-Time & Part-Time Available

Teaching Personnel is recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Supply Teachers to work across a variety of welcoming primary schools in Kingsteignton from September 2026. Whether you're an experienced teacher, an ECT, or looking for a better work-life balance, we have flexible opportunities to suit your availability.

As a Supply Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
  • Follow school plans and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Adapt quickly to different classroom settings.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Ensure pupils remain engaged and supported throughout the school day.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching within UK primary schools.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • A flexible, reliable and professional approach.
  • A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel.
  • Competitive weekly pay of £125–£150 per day, depending on experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
