Job summary

Elderbrook School, part of Kedleston Group, is seeking two teachers to join a new primary provision from Summer Term 2027. You will plan and deliver lessons across KS1 and KS2, foster a positive learning atmosphere, and contribute to the school community with enthusiasm and innovation.

Qualified teachers with QTS, and a SEND qualification being desirable, will thrive in this supportive environment that values professional growth and student wellbeing.

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A qualification in SEND education is desirable.
• Experience of working with children in SEN settings, preferably with SEMH pupils.
• Experience in teaching KS1 and KS2 curriculum
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in teaching methods.

Opened in 2015, Elderbrook School, (formally, Arc School Old Arley) is an independent special day school situated within a rural village near Nuneaton, affording children and young people the opportunity to take part in a range of activities within the local community. The spacious school environment is bright and welcoming with a variety of different learning spaces inside and outside

Our school has a particular focus on taking learning outside the classroom into the grounds and community beyond and working in partnership with other organisations to enrich opportunities for children and young people.

Elderbrook School is part of Kedleston Group. We specialise in providing specialist education and care for children aged 7-19 with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
