Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Primary Class Teacher to support learning in a Newcastle primary school from November on a full-time, long-term basis. You will plan engaging lessons, differentiate for all abilities, and collaborate with Teaching Assistants to deliver high-quality education.

The role requires QTS, UK classroom experience, and strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, with a DBS check and a positive, proactive attitude central to success.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS: ideally on Update Service but can process a new one.
• QTS and Primary School Teaching experience within the UK.
• Experience of short, medium and long-term planning.
• Experience using diverse methods to assess pupil progress.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Strong relationship-building skills with pupils and staff.
• Positive and resilient attitude towards teaching and work.
• Experience of teaching within the UK.
• Genuine passion for teaching.
• Strong organisation and communication skills.

Prospero Teaching is looking for a passionate, proactive and enthusiastic Class Teacher to support the learning of pupils in one of our inspirational Primary Schools in Newcastle from November on a full-time and long-term basis. • The role will involve planning and teaching engaging and informative lessons that inspire pupils and allows all pupils to make progress regardless of their ability levels.
• Stretching and challenging the learning and progress all pupils
• Building positive relationships with pupils and Teaching Assistants to create excellent learning environments.
• Managing challenging behaviour in a positive, proactive and consistent manner
• Differentiating lessons appropriately to suit the needs and earning styles of all pupils.
• Using varied methods of assessment to assess pupil progress
• Displaying high levels of enthusiasm, energy and positivity when working with children.
• Working effectively with Teaching Assistants to ensure children receive the best possible educational experience

• There is an opportunity for the role to be based across any age group from EYFS to Year 6., depending on the experience, specialism and preference of the successful Candidate.

Pay, Hours and Contract:

• Contract – Full-time until the end of the Academic Year in July 2027. Temporary Contract.

Experience/Qualifications and Requirements:
