Job summary

Ryecroft Primary Academy is seeking a part-time Care Support Worker to join the team in November 2026 on a permanent basis. You will work alongside teaching staff to supervise the class and support pupils with tasks in line with the national curriculum.

The role requires ICT literacy and experience with pupils in KS1/KS2, with a proactive approach to supporting learning and behaviour in a busy classroom environment. This is a school-based position within the Bradford area.

Qualifications

• ICT literate and competent in using a variety of software packages.
• Recent experience of working with pupils in a school setting in Key Stages 1 or 2.
• Knowledge of the national curriculum and learning strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide whole classroom supervision as needed.
• Assist the teacher and pupils to complete set work and uphold standards and behaviour in the classroom.
• Work alongside the teacher, carrying out specific tasks in line with the needs of the teacher.
