Salisbury Medical Practice in Salisbury is seeking a committed Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly team. You will be trained in phlebotomy (essential) and may already be a Healthcare Assistant or a Phlebotomist applying to become one with our practice. You should work well in a team and independently, and be adept with IT.

You will be part-time with hours discussed at interview. Evidence of enhanced DBS and immunisations is required, and you must be eligible to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Essential: Level 3 Health & Social Care Qualification.
• Essential: Certification/Qualification and competency in Phlebotomy.
• Desirable: 3+ years as Healthcare Assistant; theatre assistance; QOF experience.

Responsabilités

• Undertake blood tests, NHS health checks and vitals within clinic.
• Assist in minor procedures and theatres under protocols.
• Conduct diabetic foot checks and health checks for new patients.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate IT/documentation.
