Job summary

Lakeside Healthcare Corby is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our team delivering general practice services, including dressings, NHS Health checks, ECGs, blood pressure checks, injections, phlebotomy and long-term condition reviews.

You will work full-time or part-time during core hours, supporting GPs and nurses with delegated clinical tasks and ensuring accurate recording of care in line with practice policies. Right to work in the UK is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above.
• Commitment to completing and maintaining relevant training and competencies required for the role.
• Good understanding of confidentiality, data protection and professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy/venepuncture and processing specimens for laboratory testing.
• Perform and record clinical observations (blood pressure, BMI, height/weight).
• Record ECGs and urinalysis with appropriate training.
• Support NHS Health Checks and long-term condition reviews.
