Lakeside Healthcare Group in Corby is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our primary care team. The role covers phlebotomy, ECGs, BP checks, injections, dressings and health checks within core hours 8am-8pm Monday to Friday and 9am-5pm on Saturdays on a rota.

We require GCSE English and Maths, a commitment to training, confidentiality know-how and healthcare experience. Both full-time and part-time hours will be considered; salary range advertised is FTE.

Formación

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above.
• Complete Care Certificate and maintain competencies.
• Understanding confidentiality, data protection and professional boundaries.
• Previous healthcare experience in clinical role.
• NVQ level 2 or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Undertake phlebotomy/venepuncture and process specimens for laboratory testing.
• Perform and record clinical observations, including blood pressure monitoring and BMI.
• Perform and record ECGs.
• Undertake urinalysis and near-patient testing where trained.
• Support NHS Health Checks and long-term condition reviews.
• Carry out wound care and apply basic dressings within competencies.
