Job summary

Inizio Engage is launching a new Primary Care Account Specialist team to support AstraZeneca's respiratory programme in the UK. The role centers on building trusted NHS relationships, delivering evidence-based engagement, and supporting market access strategies across local healthcare settings.

The successful candidate will engage with GP practices, PCNs and local networks, ensuring compliant, data-informed account planning and cross-functional collaboration to deliver on commercial objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales
• Strong understanding of NHS structures, formularies and pathways
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals

Responsibilities

• Support awareness and implementation of guidelines and market access positioning through compliant account engagement.
• Drive commercial success by delivering against clear objectives.
• Identify and develop account opportunities aligned with local healthcare priorities.
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across practices, PCNs and local networks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to drive the business.
• Utilise data and digital tools to identify opportunities.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical and therapy-area knowledge for credible engagement.
• Operate within AstraZeneca governance, SLAs, SOPs and ABPI Code of Practice.
