Job summary

Senploy is supporting a fantastic primary school in Finchley by recruiting a dedicated Behaviour Mentor. This role focuses on targeted social, emotional and behavioral support for primary-aged pupils, including those with SEMH, ADHD and ASD.

You will work 1:1 and in small groups, applying positive behavior strategies and building resilience. Collaboration with teachers and safeguarding leads is essential to monitor progress and adapt plans accordingly.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEMH, ADHD, or ASD.
• Ability to build rapport with disengaged or vulnerable learners.
• Calm, resilient, and empathetic approach to behavior support.
• Experience in a school setting is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted interventions 1:1 and in small groups for pupils with SEMH/ADHD/ ASD.
• Apply positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques.
• Support literacy and numeracy activities while fostering social communication skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and safeguarding leads to monitor progress and adjust plans.
• Create a safe, inclusive learning environment that motivates students.
