Job summary

Qualifications

Experience as a Behaviour Mentor or similar roles in school settings.
Calm, resilient and empathetic attitude with ability to build rapport with vulnerable learners.
Qualifications in childcare or Team Teach or autism awareness are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Targeted 1-to-1 and small-group intervention with pupils showing challenging behavior or SEMH needs.
Apply positive behaviour support, de-escalation and emotional regulation strategies.
Support literacy, numeracy and social communication in classroom activities.
Collaborate with class teachers, SENCO and safeguarding leads to monitor progress and update plans.
Create a safe, inclusive environment where pupils feel understood and motivated.
