Job summary

Arthur is seeking Pricing Developers to join a Lloyd's market insurer’s pricing function. You will work with actuarial and underwriting teams to enhance pricing models across all classes of business and rollout pricing capability on the hx platform.

The role combines technical pricing with transformation delivery, offering broad exposure and opportunities to influence governance, profitability, and decision making through analytics and collaboration with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in General Insurance pricing, ideally within the London Market.
• Strong technical skills, including Python and SQL.
• Experience with hx renew is advantageous.
• Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, implementation and enhancement of pricing models across multiple classes of business.
• Assist with the rollout and optimisation of the hx pricing platform.
• Partner with underwriters to improve pricing methodologies and support risk selection decisions.
• Develop pricing analytics, portfolio monitoring and management information.
• Analyse portfolio performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability and pricing adequacy.
• Support portfolio optimisation, capital allocation and business planning initiatives.
• Collaborate with actuarial, underwriting, technology and data teams to deliver pricing transformation projects.
• Contribute to pricing governance, model validation and regulatory requirements.
