Job summary

Eames Consulting is seeking an analytically minded actuary for a pricing role within a Lloyd's insurer. You will shape pricing strategy across a diverse portfolio, develop pricing tools, and deliver analyses for large and complex risks, informing commercial decisions.

Joining a transformation HX project, you will collaborate with senior stakeholders, communicate technical concepts, and further actuarial capabilities using Python, Excel, Power BI, SQL and VBA.

Qualifications

• Analytically minded actuary progressing through actuarial exams or recently qualified.
• Strong Python and Excel skills are essential, with experience in Power BI, SQL, VBA or modern pricing platforms a plus.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to a range of audiences and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance pricing tools for a diverse portfolio.
• Deliver pricing analysis for large and complex risks.
• Provide portfolio insights to support commercial decision-making.
• Contribute to management reporting and evolution of actuarial capabilities.
