Job summary

Ascot Group is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join the London pricing team. This early-career role offers exposure to day-to-day actuarial pricing support and involvement in a multi-year pricing transformation project, under senior guidance.

You will work across underwriting teams, building skills in pricing tools and data analytics. The position provides opportunities to develop within a modern, collaborative environment and to contribute to both routine pricing tasks and strategic pricing

Qualifications

• 0–2 years’ relevant experience; recent graduates encouraged to apply.
• Studying towards IFoA actuarial examinations or plan to begin.
• Interest in actuarial work, ideally pricing.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Good written and verbal communication; ability to build relationships across teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day actuarial pricing support to underwriting teams.
• Maintain and validate rating tools and pricing capabilities across classes.
• Contribute to Pricing Framework and Lloyd’s Pricing Maturity Matrix.
• Assist with the Pricing Transformation project and data integration.
• Collaborate with IT, MI, Data, Underwriting, Reinsurance and Exposure Management.
