The Sowena Group, partnered with a growing PE-backed manufacturing business, seeks a Head of Pricing to own pricing strategy, margin performance and the development of the pricing function.

You will lead a small pricing team, drive governance, and collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations and Procurement to maximise profitability while staying commercially competitive. This is a senior leadership role with broad strategic impact.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in pricing, commercial finance or commercial management.
• Experience leading or developing a pricing team and managing performance.
• Strong understanding of margin management, pricing structures and contracts.
• Experience developing pricing strategies and managing price increases.
• Advanced Excel and pricing data analysis skills.
• Experience producing pricing, margin and performance reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation and influencing capabilities at senior level.
• Experience improving pricing processes, controls and reporting.

Responsabilités

• Own and develop the pricing strategy, setting margin targets and pricing objectives.
• Lead annual and periodic price increase programmes and discount policies.
• Oversee customer-specific pricing across new business, tenders, renewals and contracts.
• Work with Sales, Finance and Procurement to maximise profitability while remaining competitive.
• Produce monthly pricing and margin reports for senior leadership.
• Lead improvements to pricing tools, systems, data quality and automation.
