Job summary

Ageas Insurance Ltd is seeking a Lead Pricing Analyst for Household pricing to own pricing projects and guide a team of analysts. You will balance growth, profitability, and competitiveness through advanced analytics and modelling.

You will collaborate with Underwriting, Actuarial and Implementation teams, while presenting insights to senior stakeholders and driving pricing strategy across the function.

Qualifications

• Household pricing experience preferred; general lines pricing experience required.
• Experience with Databricks, Python or R for data analysis.
• Experience with Radar or Earnix or equivalent rating software.
• Strong data manipulation and programming skills.
• Analytics and modelling techniques to solve complex business problems.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
• Strong project management, planning and organisational skills.
• Coaching and developing Pricing Analysts within the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing projects and workstreams to agreed timescales and quality standards.
• Investigate complex business challenges and develop data-driven pricing solutions.
• Develop and present pricing proposals balancing growth, competitiveness and profitability.
• Support strategic decision-making through actuarial and statistical analysis.
• Identify opportunities for new rating factors and pricing methodologies.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Actuarial and Implementation teams.
• Coordinate stakeholders with governance and approvals.
• Support deployment of pricing changes into live environments.
• Develop, validate and approve predictive models.
• Maintain pricing datasets and monitor performance.
• Analyse portfolio performance and market dynamics to inform pricing decisions.
• Coach and develop Pricing Analysts.
