Job description

What is the opportunity?

Reporting to the Product Lead for Northern Ireland, this is an exciting opportunity to join the Everyday Banking Product & Solutions Team. You'll be responsible for enhancing our pricing and commercial capabilities across Current Accounts, Overdrafts, Cards, and Business Savings to support our growth ambitions. Initially, we'll focus on Business Savings.

Location - the successful candidate can be based in Belfast or London.

In this role you will:
  • Design and deliver strategic and tactical product pricing initiatives across Products and Solutions, developing advanced knowledge of product financials and key commercial drivers, utilizing insight trend analysis to improve forecasting and identify opportunities.
  • Enhance our pricing capabilities to meet regulatory standards, including Fair Value Assessments across all product portfolios.
  • Manage pricing governance, business performance, and competitiveness reporting, including pricing mandates, Business Management Committee updates, and monthly reports.
  • Monitor competitor pricing strategies and market movements to protect and grow market share.
  • Develop forecasts and track performance to understand drivers of commercial success.
  • Support team capability uplift through coaching and sharing knowledge and methodologies.
What will make you stand out?
  • Significant hands-on commercial experience in pricing and forecasting, ideally in financial services.
  • Strong commercial judgment, analytical skills, and the ability to interpret large data sets and make clear recommendations.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with statistical software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex topics and preparing C-level reports.
  • Relationship management skills with a collaborative approach; ability to challenge and influence stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the UK financial services industry, including emerging technologies and regulatory impacts.

Ideally, candidates will have a STEM degree and Professional or Chartered Banker status or be willing to pursue such accreditation.
