Job summary

Harnham in London is seeking a Pricing Lead to own pricing across multiple products within a growing insurance specialist. You will shape pricing strategy, develop analytical frameworks and support commercial growth.

The role involves building pricing models, governance, portfolio analytics, fraud analytics integration, and close collaboration with underwriting, data and tech teams in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• 3.5+ years' experience within personal lines pricing, ideally within motor insurance.
• Strong Python skills with experience building pricing models and analytical solutions.
• Solid understanding of pricing methodologies, including statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Experience working with rating engines and implementing pricing changes.
• Ability to communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working independently within a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Strong academic background in a quantitative discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and enhancement of pricing models and rating strategies.
• Build and maintain pricing processes, governance frameworks and monitoring capabilities.
• Deliver portfolio analytics and performance insights to support commercial decision-making.
• Develop fraud analytics capabilities and integrate insights into pricing and underwriting processes.
• Partner with underwriting, claims, data and technology teams to deliver business change.
