Job Opportunity: Multimodal Pricing Specialist

We are working with an established Freight Forwarder based in Colnbrook, seeking an experienced Multimodal Pricing Specialist.

Position Details

• Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00-17:30
• Location: Colnbrook
• Salary: £32,000 - £36,000

Responsibilities

• Receive customer quotations via various methods
• Handle Air/Ocean Exports and Imports
• Negotiate rates with carriers, hauliers, and suppliers; confirm equipment availability and agree on prices, especially where no tariff exists, to maximize cost-effectiveness
• Prepare and submit customer quotations and proposals within agreed timeframes
• Communicate with customers to manage and follow up on all quotes, obtain feedback, analyze, and circulate to relevant teams, adjusting pricing to secure opportunities
• Track success and failure rates of quotes; report findings to management
• Develop and maintain relationships, providing high levels of customer service
• Create strategic tariffs as needed to ensure effective workload management and relevance

Requirements
