Job summary

Tesco Bank is seeking a Pricing Commercial Analyst – Savings to analyse market trends, competitor activity and business performance to shape pricing strategies that drive profitability and sustainable growth. You will monitor pricing impact through reviews and work with senior stakeholders to translate insights into actions.

The role requires strong data skills with SAS/SQL/Python and Excel, and excellent communication to present insights to Directors and MD level.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical capability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
• Understanding of how pricing affects profitability and business performance.
• Proficiency in SAS (or SQL/Python) and Excel for data analysis and modelling.
• Excellent stakeholder management with ability to influence senior leaders (Director/MD).
• Able to present complex findings clearly to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform pricing strategies.
• Develop pricing models for various products and services to balance profitability and competitiveness.
• Monitor and evaluate pricing decisions through performance reviews and KPI tracking.
