Job summary

The Emerald Group is seeking a Pricing Analyst to join the team in Aylesbury. You will support the development and maintenance of pricing models for annuity business and help analyse policyholder data to inform pricing assumptions.

In this permanent role, you will assist with regulatory reporting under Solvency II, UK GAAP and IFRS17, and ensure adherence to FCA and PRA conduct standards while working as part of a collaborative pricing team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mathematics or maths-based subject required.
• Strong numerical abilities and data analysis expertise.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Word with data handling skills.
• Able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of pricing models for annuity business.
• Analyse policyholder data for pricing, including data gaps.
• Investigate factors affecting pricing assumptions.
• Assist with valuation reporting including Solvency II, UK GAAP and IFRS17.
• Ensure compliance with FCA and PRA conduct standards.
• Collaborate with pricing team to deliver timely results.
