Job summary

The Emerald Group Ltd, Search and Selection is seeking an actuarial professional for a commercially focused role in London, moving beyond traditional technical actuarial work to link pricing, reserving outputs with portfolio performance insights.

You will carry out quantitative analysis using probabilistic and deterministic approaches, support pricing tools, collaborate with stakeholders, and produce regular reporting with clear commentary on numbers.

Qualifications

Degree in a numerate subject such as Actuarial Science, Mathematics or Statistics.
Currently studying towards actuarial exams, ideally with 1–3 exams passed or exemptions.
2+ years of London market analytical experience.
Proficient in data handling and interpretation.
Strong attention to detail and clear communication.

Responsibilities

Carry out quantitative analysis using probabilistic and deterministic approaches.
Support development and improvement of pricing tools to stay accurate.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data requirements into outputs.
Produce regular and ad hoc reporting with clear commentary on numbers.
Contribute to wider Performance Management team activities.
