Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with data analysis experience.
• Actuarial or data science background in UK general insurance.
• Hands-on experience building and refining pricing models (GLMs essential; ML desirable).
• Familiarity with Emblem, Radar, Python, R, or SQL.
• Solid understanding of UK insurance regulatory environment, especially FCA pricing reforms.

Responsabilidades

• Pricing Strategy Development: lead creation and implementation of pricing models for travel insurance across risk and retail, balancing commercial goals with fairness and regulatory compliance.
• Pricing Innovation: drive innovation in pricing techniques (GLMs, ML, data enrichment) with transparent methods.
• Software Utilisation: use Emblem and Radar (Live) to develop, test, refine pricing models.
• Market Research: perform competitive analysis to understand market positioning and areas for improvement.
• Reporting: prepare and present pricing performance, market trends, and recommendations to senior management.
• Collaboration: work with Underwriting, Marketing, Claims and Product teams to align pricing with business objectives.
• Regulatory Compliance: ensure strategies comply with FCA pricing reforms and related standards.
• Champion team wellbeing, inclusion, and growth: mentor analysts and participate in company initiatives.
